CFSS / PCA Services

Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) is a Minnesota health care program designed to give people more choice, control, and independence in how they receive care. Unlike traditional home care services, CFSS is self-directed, meaning you or your loved one can play a bigger role in designing the care that best fits your lifestyle and goals. With CFSS, individuals have the flexibility to:



• Decide who provides their care
• Choose the types of supports they receive
• Stay independent in their home and active in their community

CFSS was developed by the State of Minnesota to replace and expand on current home service programs, offering more flexibility to meet the unique needs of each person. It’s about creating a personalized plan of support so people can live, work, and thrive in the community—on their own terms.

At Advantage PCA, we can hire your friend or family member to be your caregiver or we can provide one of our Agency Caregivers for compassionate, non-medical support to help individuals maintain independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes and communities. Our goal is simple: to empower people to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. Our services are flexible and can be provided both at home and in the community, tailored to each person’s unique needs.
